(a). Correspondent Of GES News Asked:

Can you share some of your fondest memories with your mother, the late Mrs. Mary Emmanuel Ozor (Née Agbigbe), that highlight her personality and character?

The Honorable Stephen Emmanuel replied as follows:

My mother is very disciplined; she puts me under intense pressure to do what is right. For example, my style of hair cut is influenced by her.

As a young man, I used to barb punk. She kept knocking on my head until I changed the hairstyle to low cut, and until today I maintained low cut.

How Did Your Mother Influence Your Life And The Lives Of Those Around Her?

The Honorable Stephen Emmanuel replied as follows:

“She is a woman who loves prayer, and she believes prayer is the first thing to do in the morning before even talking to anyone, before opening the door for any reason, you must say your prayer .

I grew up with that mentality, and today even my children know that before anything in the morning prayer is number one.”

“One value she inculcates in me is that, as a man, your immediate family is your number one priority.

Even though she single handedly raises us up, she never puts herself first, she will want me to attend first to my family before attending to her.”

The Honorable Stephen Emmanuel replied as follows:
